Pictures from Maplewood, NJ May Fest car show May 20, 2012

Thousands of Maplewood, New Jersey residents turned out for the 2012 “May Fest” street fair and car show on Sunday, May 20th.  Over two dozen classic automobiles ranging over a wide spectrum from a 1915 Ford Model T to a 1975 Bricklin Gullwing coupe were present.  Below, you’ll find pictures of the cars and trucks present.

A 1956 Ford Thunderbird 2-seat roadster equipped with factory authentic wire wheels.

Manufactured from 1974 until early 1976 for the U.S. market, the Brickin SV-1 gullwing coupe was the creation of Malcolm Bricklin, an American millionaire who had previously founded Subaru of America.
A 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 equipped with aftermarket supercharger.

A 1995 Ford Thunderbird “40th Anniversary” edition V8-powered coupe…along with several friends.
The Grand Ville was Pontiac’s highest line model, produced from 1971-75 as a convertible variation (1975 shown here). The Grand Ville was slotted above the Catalina and Bonneville.
1958 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop coupe. Because ’58 was the first year for the higher-trim Impala model, base Chevrolets featured one taillamp per side, Bel Airs featured two, and Impalas featured three.
1961 Chevrolet Impala hardtop coupe equipped with aftermarket wheels.
A 1979 Chevrolet Malibu coupe, equipped with factory color-matched rallye sport wheels.
1968 Chevrolet Chevelle hardtop coupe.
A 1979 Pontiac Trans-Am t-top coupe. 1979 was the last year the larger 400-cubic-inch engine was offered, as equipped on this model.
A 1966 Pontiac Catalina convertible, with customized color-matching bumpers.
1964 Plymouth Valiant sedan.
A 1980 Chevrolet Malibu coupe, retrofitted with a front end clip from a later 1982-83 model (coupes were not offered after ’81). Headlights are further customized also.
1975 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray, equipped with “LS4” 454-cubic-inch V8. 1975 would be the last year convertible Corvettes were offered until 1986.
1977 Chevrolet Corvette, equipped with popular removable t-top option. Side exhaust pipes and wheels are not stock.
This 1995 Corvette owner applied a layer of protective vinyl on the front bumper cover, and rearview mirror covers.
A 2004 Ford Mustang “competition orange” limited-edition Mach 1 coupe, one of 7,182 built.
1967 Camaro RS “Rally Sport” coupe, angled view.
Only RS versions of the Camaro featured hidden headlamps as seen on this 1967 coupe.

A limited-edition 2007 Ford Mustang GT “California Special” coupe, one of 5,915 made.
A 1940 Chevrolet “Master 85 Business Coupe”, modified to street rod performance standards.
1969 Plymouth Satellite hardtop coupe, front view.
A 1933 Ford “5-window” coupe with lowered roof and souped up factory V8 engine.
This 1982 Buick Regal coupe was equipped with a souped up version of the factory 5.0-liter V8.
The Wooley Fuel Company supplied one of their first oil delivery trucks from 1924, built by Autocar.
Vintage tires on this 1924 Autocar oil truck were solid rubber Good Years.
