Forty coats of gold paint were applied, and the steering wheel, television, and phone received gold plating. Three gold 45 records of Elvis’ were bonded to the inside of the soft top cover. After completion, the Dream Caddy was put on a display tour by E.P. Cosmetics from 1986-87 – and made the prize in their sweepstakes entry.
