1932 DKW F1 at Audi Ingolstadt museum

The DKW brand began by building motorcycles in 1919, and by the 1930s was the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. DKW began building cars in 1928, and in 1931 was a pioneer in front-wheel-drive technology. This 1932 F1 model shown was the first of many offerings from the marque until it was closed by VW in 1965.
